Our Story
From Family Food to Food Innovation
Food has always been at the heart of My PlantCo. Our story begins with a family deeply connected to food across Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia. From early bakery operations to Perth’s first plant‑based supermarket and restaurant in the 1990s.
We work in partnership with farmers, researchers, scientists, universities, government and industry to transform Australian produce into nutritious, future‑ready foods. By adding value close to source and reducing waste, we’re not only creating delicious food options but importantly, we’re creating food systems where people, partners and the planet benefit.
Food wasn’t just something we made; it was how we brought people together, supported communities and expressed care for the planet.
That lived experience shaped a clear belief: food can do more.
It can nourish busy lives, support local producers, reduce waste and help solve some of the biggest challenges facing our world.
