Passionately curious. Where wonder meets avocado innovation
Kado is driven by curiosity – the belief that every breakthrough begins with a question.
What if we could go beyond the surface of the avocado?
What if we use avocados to unlock new possibilities for wellbeing, sustainability and shared prosperity?
At Kado, curiosity sparks wonder, and wonder leads to invention. From whole-fruit utilisation to future-focused food and wellbeing applications, Kado exists to spark wonder and invent possibilities when it comes to Australian avocados.
Partnership-led innovation
Curiosity got us here - and collaboration takes us further.
By combining scientific discovery with entrepreneurial thinking, we’re developing first-to-market innovations that reduce waste, elevate nutrition and create new value for growers and communities.
We don’t wait for change – we help create it.
Local first. Global always.
Why Australian avocados?
Australian avocados align perfectly with My PlantCo’s purpose to nourish people, strengthen communities, and protect the planet.
They also act as a nutrient booster, helping the body absorb fat-soluble vitamins from other foods. Their creamy, neutral profile makes them ideal for clean-label innovation, including dairy-free alternatives, without synthetic additives or thickeners.
Despite their benefits, avocados are still underutilised in everyday diets. My PlantCo is on a mission to change that and bring avocados to the forefront of human nutrition.
By sourcing locally from high producing regions such as Western Australia and Queensland, we support Australian growers, strengthen local economies and reduce the carbon footprint associated with long-haul supply chains.
There is no Planet B – so we build solutions for this one.
